How To Delete, Deactivate and reactivate Facebook Account

How to Deactivate Facebook Account:

1. Log into facebook account.

2. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page.

3. The settings page will appear.

4. Click Security from Left Column Menu

5. Select Reason to deactivate account.

6. Select options for Group, Page and App that you manage on Facebook.

7. Select last check box if you want to reactivate account automatically in One Week

8. Click on Deactivate account.

After following these steps you will be able to deactivate your Facebook account.

How to Reactivate Facebook Account:

1. Go to www.facebook.com

2. Login to your account which you want to reactivate.

After logging in, your account will be reactivated completely including Friends, Photos, Timeline etc.

Note: Deactivating facebook account is not actually deleting it. If you think you don’t need your account any more you can delete it permanently.

Permanently deleting your account means you will not ever be able to reactivate or retrieve any of the content or information you’ve added.

2. Click on “Delete My Account” button

How To Delete Facebook Page

1. Open Facebook Page that you want to delete.

2. Click Settings at the top of your Page

3. Click Remove Page

4. Click on Link which says Delete “Page Name” and save changes

Note: To Delete a page on Facebook you need to have admin rights for that particular page.

Deleting your Page means that nobody will be able to see or find it. Once you click delete, you’ll have 14 days to restore it in case you change your mind. After that, you’ll be asked to confirm whether to delete it permanently.

If you want to Unpublish page you can do that by clicking Page Visibility. In that case only admin can view page.
